Like Naomi, I'm a sucker for Taisho kimono. The thing is, I'm chronically broke- no job for almost a year. Fortunately, my husband has been setting back a surprise for me! A winter kimono in time for my birthday in February! And a new obi to match. ^_^




Plum blossoms are on both pieces. Now all I need is a white obiage set to match all of my kimono, and some cute obijime! I'm thinking maybe black and red geta, with OPI toe polish in "Smitten with Mittens" - it's deep red with gold glitter! Slightly deeper than the colour of the obi, about the shade of red in the kimono. <3
